| ever noticed how almost everyone says they like hiking, but don't go hiking? i like reading but i literally forgot about books until this week. i haven't read a book in a month. i decided last year that i liked sushi SO MUCH that it was a worship experience for me when i ate it. with every bite i would say, 'Lord, you're SOOO goood!!!' and life's too short to not have that experience at LEAST once a week. but now i can't afford it so, praise god anyway! i have, however, managed to go hiking 3 days in the last month:) |

| Lyndsay was climbing into her Jeep when she ran out of the garage yelling, "There's a mouse!" I was expecting a beedy-eyed rat to attack me in moments but was surprised to see a peach colored hamster waddle toward me. He had obviously escaped from the cage of a local five-year old since I haven't seen many herds of wild hamsters roaming the plains of Northern California. I started to get into the car when I glanced back and saw the stark contrast between the fluffy white escapee and black concrete. Cat-bait for sure. So I put him in a file box and brought him home. I named him Garage but call him Gary. Gary, my early birthday present from God. Unless you're missing a peach colored hamster. In which case my m om would be more than happy for me to return him:) |
